This evening I had the opportunity to cook my dinner with the Ozeri Green Earth Pan! The Green Earth pan is one of the first frying pans in the world with a non-stick coating free of harmful chemicals! I only recently learned that non-stick cookware has a coating of PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene). At the high temperatures in which we cook, the PTFE coating decomposes and releases fumes that are harmful to humans. The GREBLON ceramic in the Green Earth pan, never releases toxic fumes. The ceramic coating contains no heavy metals or chemicals. Another difference from convention non-stick pans is that the Green Earth pan's ceramic coating is scratch resistant and easy to clean. Because it has better non-stick properties than traditional pans, the Green Earth pan allow you to use almost half the amount of oil normally used when cooking.
I really liked how sturdy this pan was and the 10" space to work with. It was nice and deep too. I fit 1 large diced zucchini, 6 diced mushrooms and a medium diced eggplant in it perfectly. It was a dream to clean, food just wiped off with a quick swipe of the sponge. The Green Earth pan comes with a 1 yr warranty.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

ReplyDeleteI wanted to get one of these too, great review. Love that it is a sturdy pan, the cheap ones tend to bow out and then I have to toss them. :)
