Week of 1/3 Weekly Menu:

The other day at BJ's Wholesale Club I spotted some Gooseberry Patch cookbooks in the book section.  I couldn't help myself, since they were only $11.  I got Ready, Set, Eat and Slow Cookers, Casseroles, & Skillets.  I found so many yummy dinner ideas! 

Monday:  Creamy Mushroom Chicken in the Crock Pot
Tuesday:  Eggplant Parmesan
Wednesday:  Hearty Pierogie Cassarole
Thursday:  Salmon Patty Burgers
Friday: PW's Meatballs with Peppers & Pineapple

A bunch of my bananas are already mushy, so I was going to make Banana Bread, but unfortunately I forgot to buy flour today, so if I can get some within the next day or two that's what I'll be baking.

  1. If I can't get to making banana bread, I freeze my bananas. They will turn black in the freezer but all you have to do is pull them out a little ahead of time so they thaw. They will be REALLY mushy, but will still be fine.

  2. Thanks Paula, I wasn't sure...I've only frozen bananas to be used in smoothies!
