DIY Photo Coasters

This past Christmas I kept seeing a tutorial all around Pinterest on DIY Photo Coasters.  I was searching for a meaningful & thoughtful gift for a few of my friends and I figured this would be a great idea to try out.

I followed the directions that the The Frugal Girls made on how to make your own photo coasters and it was beyond easy!

First, I sneakily went through my friend's facebook photos to find some great shots that would work.  I printed them out from Snapfish with a great promo code & picked them up at Walgreens an hour later.  Make sure to pick out photos that would work well with a 4x4 piece of tile.  I accidentally forgot that step and some of the photos were too big for the tile, so they had to be nixed.

You could even forget about photos and get some pretty scrapbook paper!  These were a very easy & affordable gift to make for someone special in your life!  Don't forget Mother's Day & Father's Day are coming up!

  3. I love this! My SIL made me a set of four, but I thought it would be fun to maybe turn them into trivets and all kinds of things - maybe I will!
