Hot Dots Jr. by Educational Insights - Giveaway

 I love when I am able to have my children do something that is FUN and EDUCATIONAL.  I recently was able to give them the chance to play with some Hot Dots Let's Master sets by Educational Insights.  If you have a child between levels Pre-K and Grade 3, you need to check these out!  Each set comes with 2 books - specific to math or reading, a Hot Dots interactive pen  and over 100 lessons!  Because children love being motivated by praise, they adore the Interactive pen -- Ace the Dog -- that talks to them when they get answers right or wrong!

It was a rainy day here today, so it was the perfect time to pull this out.  We received the Kindergarten Math & Reading sets to review.  I loved that it kept both my 5 year old and my 2 year old occupied for well over an hour.  While my son was able to do his hot dots completely on his own, my daughter and I did it together. It was great for my daughter to start letter, number, shape and pattern recognition.  My son tends to get very frustrated quickly, so I know he enjoyed himself when there was no yelling or crying.  There's no long winded directions or confusing facts to figure out how to "play".  When the answer is right, they are praised with the Dog pen flashing lights & giving words of encouragement.  The last 15 lessons in each book are challenge activities to help prepare your young student to go into the next grade level.  You can't get any simpler with Hot Dots and quite frankly, that's why it works!
