Spicy Shrimp and Andouille Over Charleston-Style Grits

When it comes to any recipe that has the world "Spicy" in it, I am usually not interested.  This is the sort of recipe I would not be interested in making.  Coming from the North, I never had a taste of anything from the south (ie: grits!).  My husband's coworker gave him this recipe and insisted he would love it.  I was really hesitant.  But to my dismay, it was delicious and spicy!  So I really didn't eat that much at all.  I recently made it again using kielbasa and my husband said it wasn't nearly as spicy and he liked it better.  This is obviously not a figure friendly dish with the grits calling for so much butter & milk, but they were very tasty!

  1. I wish my husband liked shrimp because he loves grits. Anything Emeril usually is delicious in my opinion. :)
